Thank you for visiting Alchemy Creative Inc and for your support especially in the development of education in whatever capacity that may be whether as a mentor, educator, parent, or industry specialist. With that in mind, I would like to reaffirm Alchemy Creative's commitment to education.

Alchemy Creative, Inc. (ALMY) is an edutainment company specializing in publishing and producing entertaining products that engage and teach children of all ages. With a firm belief that education is the key to solving the world's enigmas including poverty, disease, and the lack of basic human rights, we have historically partnered with numerous individuals and entities to improve education.

Alchemy Creative Inc. currently provides two product lines, Poetry Pals and Adventures of the Elements, as tools for enhancing education and for shaping education policy. Both products effectively reach and resonate with students and educators globally. The objective is to actively engage all students in science, reading, and math in an environment conducive to students' interests. With today's children watching television and movies, playing video games, and surfing the internet, there exists a medium for education through entertainment. The ultimate goal is to not only expose more students to science, reading, and math but to encourage students to garner an interest to pursue various career fields. With knowledge, one gains peace of mind, which eliminates the fear that breeds anger, prejudice, and war. Alchemy Creative works to invigorate and inspire children, our world's future, to thirst for knowledge.

As an example of how Alchemy Creative achieves this objective, we will focus on one of our products, Adventures of the Elements.

ALMY's campaign is to raise awareness for effective education solutions that excite and creatively teach kids. We focus on programs that have a plan to reach large audiences with material; that as US Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan stated, “stimulates curiosity and connects it [education] to their [student's] lives”. These programs are those that use mediums that kids gravitate to such as entertainment, sports, and games. One such program, Adventures of the Elements (AoE), currently meets all those criteria.

The objective of AoE is to actively engage all students in science. There are effective science programs available; however, most of these programs are either too expensive or only able to touch a small segment of the population at a time. For example, most universities have science summer camps for young students but they have a limited capacity and duration. While these programs are beneficial for the educators and students who are exposed to them, their impact is limited. Unfortunately, as a whole, society continues to decline in science education and in the production of scientists, engineers, and other technical careers.

Adventures of the Elements provides an effective and inexpensive way to touch every student over a significant time period. One of the most attractive aspects of the materials is their appeal to students. The most effective method of engaging a large number of students quickly is through edutainment. Such an approach with the Adventures of the Elements program can effectively make science part of student's everyday vernacular. This is the same process used by MTV, Hollywood, Nickelodeon, and other sectors of the entertainment industry to influence children. These results can be seen in children's trends, fashion, language, knowledge, interests, and hobbies. Why not have students across the globe discussing science, “Green” technology, and carbon footprints as part of their daily dialogue?

The task is to reach students globally. Whether it is Kingston, Jamaica or a rural village in Pakistan, we never know from where the world's next Einstein will bloom. Fortunately, there is a method to globally touch every young student and that is by invoking the imagination. That is how humans have always learned and advanced. In fact, imagination saved our species from extinction because in ancient times homo sapiens had to imagine clothing, shelters, and tools to survive.

Today's student is no different. When a child steps into the classroom, everything he or she is experiencing did not exist previously in his or her world. If we, as educators, link imagination to the learning process, it becomes more creative, intriguing, effective, and lasting. Adventures of the Elements accomplishes this goal.

The top ten to fifteen percent of students will perform well under almost any education system. It is the remaining eighty-five percent of the student population that we must influence to cause a global increase in science. As the majority of students improve, it will push the top ten to fifteen percent of students to new heights. This way there is a dramatic and sudden upward shift in science scores and careers.

Thus, this program concentrates on the dissemination of the Adventures of the Elements on a scale that will allow all students regardless of economic, social, or geographic status to be exposed to science through an entertaining medium.

More to come!
